KENKELEBA GALLERY
ART GEO CREW ON THE MOVE!
The Art Geo crew visited the Kenkeleba Gallery located on 219 E. 2nd Street between Avenue B and C in the Lower East Side. The exhibit was a group art show called, "Abstraction + Abstraction". The show was curated by Corrine Jennings and Mary Anne Rose. We were met by Corrine who is also the owner of the gallery. The Abstraction + Abstraction show presented a historical perspective of African American artists creating abstract art. It was very interesting to see different kinds of abstract arts.
