SLOAN FINE ART
ART GEO CREW ON THE MOVE!
The ArtGeo Crew visited Sloan Fine Art at 128 Rivington Street on the corner of Norfolk Street. We were met by owner and curator, Alix Sloan. In the main gallery, we saw the paintings of Kristen Schiele. In Kristen art, she used avariety of techniques including silkscreen, painting and ink transfers. In a smaller gallery, called the Project Room, we saw Clare Grill's work. Clare uses transparent layering, sanding and impasto in her paintings. Impasto is a way of applying paint with thickness and texture.
