ART GEO CREW ON THE MOVE!
Our third assignment found us at Umbrella Arts, another neighborhood gallery, located on East 9th Street between 1st and 2nd Avenue. Long time members of the art community, Mary Ann Fahey and Margaret Bodell, present painters and photographers in their intimate and welcoming gallery space. We were treated to a show of photography created with the Holga plastic camera, curated by Holga enthusiast Harvey Stein. Mary Ann even took one apart for us so we could appreciate itŐs simplicity. We all wanted one!.
