EAST 6TH STREET BETWEEN 1ST AND 2ND AVENUES
WHO LIVES ON THIS BLOCK?
The Geo Girls took a stroll to East 6th Street on Avenues 1st and 2nd. We interviewed a resident that has lived on the block for a number of years. She described her views on the businesses and the surroundings. Also, she talked about how much a block can change in a small amount of time. There is one Synagogue which is located in the middle of the block that has many events. There is also a large variety of restaurants throughout the block. Andy Warhol also owned a building on the block. This block contains a lot of history.
