Sasa Sasa Geo Girls! For July, we decided to push our media making skills & being to strengthen our reporting methods. We learned so much from watching the works of all the other Geo Girls and it gives us courage to continue exploring. This month we decided to give a inside into our environment, our surroundings, & the insights from our community. We wanted to show the conditions of Kibera Slum, the devastating pollution & rubbish strewn about. We also wanted to show how dedicated the girls of the Kibera Girls Soccer Academy are in facing the challenges of physics and chemistry, & our teachers dedication in helping us to understand complicated formulas of physics. And finally we thought it was really important to share words that our members of the community share with us to help us to see the way forward, to understand self-reliance, & the actions that lead to self-confidence & the ability to rely on oneself.
